DETOURS SCHEDULED NIGHTLY ON SR 429 AND SR 414 FOR FINAL PAVING OPERATIONS

Starting Sunday night, July 15th between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m., the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority is scheduled to begin final paving operations on the new State Road 429 (Daniel Webster Western Beltway) / State Road 414 (John Land Apopka Expressway) interchange. This is the last major step toward completing the new full interchange between SR 429 and SR 414. Road closures will be necessary to accommodate the paving operations. Detour signs will be posted to assist drivers.

 

The scheduled detours are:

 

·  Southbound SR 429 between US Highway 441 (Orange Blossom Train) and SR 414, Sunday, July 15th through Tuesday, July 17th.

 

·  Westbound SR 414 between Keene Road and County Road 437A (Ocoee-Apopka Road) on Wednesday, July 18th.  

 

·  Northbound SR 429 between CR 437A (Exit 29) and SR 414 on Thursday, July 19th.

 

Bad weather and other unforeseen circumstances could delay or prolong work.
